Dimensions invests any profits into improving services, both for their own customers and the wider sector. It has commissioned leading research into practice improvements. Working with the leadership team, we coined the new strap ‘Proving life can get better’, which links their commitment to practice improvement to better life outcomes for Dimensions customers.
Our full brand refresh provided new positioning copy and an evolved look and feel which modernised the presentation of their brand, while preserving recognition and heritage.
Active and in control
It’s fundamental that people with learning disabilities should be shown as active agents in control of their own lives . The phrase ‘Active citizens’ helped sum up this attitude by celebrating people with learning disabilities as a vital part of our society.
Preserving brand recognition with a modern new style
The new visual brand included an updated and modernised logo, with a more professional feel, and a refreshed colour palette. Typography and graphic presentation were designed to enhance legibility and accessibility.

Our website for Dimensions exemplified their commitment to good practice and provided a home for their excellent content, including sector leading blogs and campaigns, information for people with learning disabilities, as well as family friendly content.
Dimensions is national provider with a strong connection to local neighbourhoods, so it’s vital that customers and commissioners can find their local services easily online. We provided clear user journeys to nearby services, making it much easier to contact the right local office and make referrals.
Even better Easy Read
Among its many innovations, the site included a new ‘Easy Read’ module which allows users to scroll between easy read frames, creating an experience that feels clearer and more engaging than standard paper based Easy Read content.
